When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody the antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-4 °C. |

background: PEF1 (penta-EF hand domain containing 1) is a Ca(2+)-binding protein that belongs to the penta-EF hand family which shares similarities to the apoptosis linked gene ALG-2. PEF1 heterodimerizes with PDCD6/ALG2 and dissociates from PDCD6/ALG2 in the presence of Ca(2+). Subunit: Heterodimer; heterodimerizes with PDCD6. Dissociates from PDCD6 in presence of Ca(2+). Subcellular Location: Cytoplasm. Membrane; Peripheral membrane protein. Note=Membrane-associated in the presence of Ca(2+). Similarity: Contains 5 EF-hand domains.
